• If you only smoke marijuana once and then never smoke again, it will stay in your urine for about 5 to 8 days before it finally leaves your system and clears out of your body.

• If you smoke marijuana on a fairly regular basis and imbibe cannabis at least 2 to 4 times a week, and then stop taking it altogether, you’ll test positive for this drug after 11 to 18 days. But if you completely remove it from your system after the 18^th day, you should be able to pass a drug test the next time you take one as long as it’s after the 18 days have passed.

• If you smoke marijuana pretty consistent basis, and ingest this drug at least five or six times a week, then it’s going to stay in your system longer and it will show up in your urine for quite some time. In fact, if you are a five or six time a week smoker, you should expect the marijuana to stay in your system for 33 to 48 days. And if you continue to smoke at this pace, the marijuana is never going to leave your system. The only way that it will leave is if you stop smoking altogether.

• Serious marijuana smokers that smoke consistently every day should expect weed to stay in their urine for 49 to 63 days before it finally clears out after you’ve quit. But it will only clear from your urine if you stop using the drug.
